Pricing
RS Designs aim to reflect the most competitve pricing and information on products offered at all times. We will make all reasonable efforts to present accurate information, In the event of a price change, or in the event of a pricing error howsoever caused, we will check with you to see if you still wish to receive the item at the new price. All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£).
Deliveries
RS Designs will deliver to your home within 2 to 5 weeks on all Designs and finishes to items within the more furniture catagory, the time scale begins from the date of order confirmation which commences from acceptance of cleared payment as per payment conditions. Most items are in stock and fall within the early period of delivery times, Bespoke Oak & Pine items usually fall within the 4 to 8 week time scale of the delivery period due to being hand built to order. RS Designs reserve the right to contact customers at any time to advise of any changes to a scheduled delivery due to any circumstances that can arise. Due to unforeseen circumstances we may not be able to deliver within our standard delivery times, in which case you will be contacted and alternative arrangements agreed. We do consistantly update and improve our delivery service which is our commitment to our customers.
Kinetic Logistics are our credited delivery company whom will always call and discuss the suitable date for delivery, They also always give a 1 hour prior delivery call on the day, this is to enable you the customer to continue about your daily activities with as little hold up as possible.
RS Designs will contact you approximaitely 10 days prior to delivery by telephone or email with the release date.
RS Designs offer a comprehensive overseas delivery service which is fully insured, All delivery charges will be chargable in addition to any standard charges within the United Kingdom, We would contact you following any enquiry with a quote for delivery charges to your home address. All packaging and services included in the service of sending Furniture overseas would be included in the quotation.
Disclaimer
RS Designs would like to advise that all solid wood furniture is built from first class A Grade quality timbers, pre selected kiln dried timbers and approved by professional craftsman pre manufacturing, real wood is a natural product and variations in colour and texture are perfectly normal and cannot be excluded. Natural wood is susceptible to movement and conditioning due to climate change, RS Designs take the utmost care to preserve the moisture content of the wood and use professional finishing oils and lacquers to protect our furniture.
RS Designs do not advise placing solid wood furniture in front of heating facilities or radiators, we also advise against placing furniture into cold storage without adequate protection. Furniture built to size have a 5mm allowance + and - due to the fact that our furniture is hand built and hand machined, this aplies to all Maximum sizes. Internal dimensions supplied are always treated with utmost importance and are kept to unless otherwise advised.
RS Designs accept no responsibility for movement in furniture components as all products are available with full care instructions ( Available on request) and our full professional advise.
Furniture that has been built to order and ready for delivery is a none refundable item as all costs have been incurred.
According to company holiday period policy, please allow a maximum of 2 weeks for reply of email / telephone enquiries, this is due to office closure during summer and christmas annual shut down. These closeure periods are notified on the website.
Privacy
RS Designs recognises the concern of our customers regarding privacy of information. All information you give to us is stored securely, and is not accessible to other users. Any information you give to us will not be shared with any other company, unless you give us your express consent. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you or pass your information to another trader unless you have given us your consent. In order to process your payment we may, however, provide financial information to our account processors (including Banks and such organisations). In addition, you may notify us if you do not wish to receive any further marketing information from us.

We will not collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. We will endeavour to ensure the information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with the law. If you have any questions/comments about privacy, you should email us. We do not knowingly collect for company use any personal information of children under 12 without the consent of their parent or carer.

RS Designs uses 128 bit SSL encryption and verified fraud prevention to ensure the highest security for credit card and personal details submitted to us over the Internet.
Refunds & Guarantees
RS Designs operates a '25% Re-stocking' returns policy in accordance with the UK Distance Selling Regulations if you return non-bespoke furniture within 15 working days of receiving delivery of your order. Please note that any postage costs incurred when returning your products during this period will be at your own cost, unless the Furniture is damaged, or was sent in error. Please follow the return directions below.
RS Designs offer a quality guarantee on all Bespoke, Standard sized and Furniture collections items, however All Oak & Pine Furniture and Bespoke items are made to order and are nonrefundable yet are covered for quality assurance or rectification upon a mistake being made. whilst holding a disclaimer on wood grain and texture finish due to the nature of natural woods.
Standard Returns Policy
After the '25% Re-stocking' 15 day period we will be more than happy to accept products for return in any of the following cases:
The Furniture was found to be damaged. We will repair the Furniture,
If a replacement is the only solution , we will have the replacement sent to you and the faulty item collected,
It must be in unused and as originally despatched condition.
It must be accompanied by a copy of the delivery note or receipt.
Provided the conditions above are met, The products remain your property until we have received them. Returns are accepted at the discretion of RS Designs.
Use of Site
RS Designs reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, and/or cancel transactions at it’s discretion, if RS Designs believes that customer conduct is in violation or breach of any applicable law or our terms and conditions, or is harmful to the interests of RS Designs. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Contracts are established at time of order.
